Gardens Flourish With Care

That’s the Membership theme for the 2006-2008 administration

Just like a garden, Federation membership needs care to make it grow! Continued cultivation in established gardens is as important as planting new seeds. With careful planting, watering and weeding, our garden will grow.

COME GROW WITH US as GFWC Virginia celebrates its 100th Anniversary. Be part of this very special organization at a very special time in its history. For membership information, please contact our GFWC Virginia Membership Chairman, Hope Royer.

GFWC is one of the world's oldest and largest women's organizations whose members are dedicated to community improvement through volunteer service. With roots in local communities and branches around the world, GFWC members annually volunteer more than 13 million hours and contribute approximately $35 million through more than 160,000 club projects.

Be sure to ask your District Membership Chairmen and Junior Chairmen WHAT'S GROWING?  They have information on ACT in OCT and on the FOCUS on Membership photography contest.

About the Membership Strategy Team:

Just planted in the Membership Garden... Judy Gough, Joan Rogers and Laura Lavene will be joining your State Membership Chairman and Junior Chairman as members of the GFWC VA Membership Strategy Team. The team is partnering with a group of MBA candidates at VCU, in Richmond, to develop and implement a membership marketing strategy. You'll be hearing more as this unique project GROWS.
